I started sewing when I was little - creating cute little "fashions" for my many Barbie dolls. Little did I know that by age 14 I would be sewing professionally (getting paid to do it!) and making my own clothes. Think Molly Ringwald in "Pretty In Pink"! By age 17, I was working in a local dressmaking shop which was the best experience ever. I learned a lot of techniques from ladies who had children and grandchildren my age!

I was bitten by the woodworking and DIY bug in 2006. My first projects were dressers for my kids. I am known to pick the most challenging project to start with and my first projects were no exception! Since then, I've gone on to build countless pieces of furniture. I've gutted and remodeled both of my bathrooms by myself. My latest project was a complete kitchen remodel where I built all of the cabinets and the island, I moved electrical wiring for my cooktop and oven, and generally created more storage in the same amount of space! DIY is so addicting but a fantastic creative outlet!!

Like Rayan, I am a draftsman. I work as a detailer for a steel fabricator and create design drawings for fabrication. I am one of the newest contributors here at TDC and am having a great time creating plans for you... I'm here to help so drop me a line if I can be of assistance!!
